Check out Cruz Azul’s Richard Nuñez kick this ball like it did something wrong to him. Mediotiempo.com named it their Goal of the Week.
Cruz Azul went on to beat Chiapas’ Jaguars 1-0, and nudged “La Maquina” into first place of Group 1.

The FMF’s Disciplinary Comission has slapped Monterrey’s José Joel González with a three-game suspension for rough play last weekend.
Gonzalez was sent off in the ninth minute in a rough-and-tumble affair against Atlas for a knee-snapping tackle from behind. Atlas went on to beat Los Rayados 2-1, ending a five game rut.
