Feeling the Blues

Chivas became the first Mexican Liguilla semifinalist, drawing with Cruz Azul 2-2 in Mexico City and advancing 4-2 on aggragate.

Aperatura leaders Cruz Azul failed to snap a 13-game Liguilla losing streak and have not won the Mexican Championship in over a decade.

Chivas striker Ramon Morales put the “Goats” on the scoreboard with a penalty in the 38th minute and put the nail in “La Maquina’s” coffin just after the half with a tap-in from close range.

Personally, I wasn’t all that impressed by either team. “The Blue Machine” always finds a way to lose, and the boys from Jalisco seemed to be getting all the right calls.
