For America, Libertadores, is all that is left.

We all know by now that America is in last place in the Mexican League Clausura Tournament. They have been playing horrible with a defense as was described on ESPN Deportes, made of butter. You can cut through their defense like cutting through some warm butter with a knife. WOW, that’s messed up. I admit, I laughed when I heard the ESPN comentator say that. They also said that in their recent Mexican League game, they can’t even pull a win out using the prestige of their Jersey. Prestige that America is one of the big clubs in Mexico.
Despite their bad play, America is 1st place in their Copa Libertadores group! Now they face San Martin in Peru. San Martin, who America beat 3-1 in their last match in Mexico. A win in Peru could bring America very close to qualifying for the next round in Copa Libertadores competition. San Martin was supposedly missing various key players last game. America as well was missing Guillermo Ochoa and Enrique Esqueda who were too busy losing games in the Olympic qualifying. They also will have Gringo Castro, who was suspended for getting into a scuffle a couple games back.
Stay tuned tomorrow for this match.
