Futbol Wednesday
By: mirna | August 28th, 2007We have a full day tomorrow…full of futbol with some very interesting games. I am most intrigued about the Santos vs. Guadalajara game. Not only because both teams are doing quite well in the beginning of the Apertura but also because of Oswaldo Sanchez. The press kept after him about playing his old team and he was very eloquent in saying that he likes Chivas and he was great memories from his years there but that he wanted to beat them. Beat them badly or so he says.
So these are the games for tomorrow and where you can catch them on TV. All but a couple will be live.
Santos vs Guadalajara (Azteca America)
Cruz Azul vs Toluca (Azteca America)
San Luis vs Veracruz (Galavision)
Morelia vs América (Azteca America)
U.A. de G. vs Monterrey (Fox Sports en Espanol)
Atlas vs Atlante (Galavision - will be shown on Aug. 30th)
Necaxa vs Chiapas (Galavision - will be shown on Aug. 30th)
UNAM vs Puebla (Galavision)
And let’s not forget the Superliga final in Carson, CA. Pachuca vs. L.A. Galaxy (Telefutura). Some say Beckham will play tomorrow. I think he will if for a little bit. I’ll keep you posted.

If you live in a city that has Azteca America, Directv carries it on its local channel roster. It is worth it, if you like Mexican soccer because they have tons of games you won’t see on Univision or Galavision.
What game where you interested in? I can see if I can tape it for you.

I don’t live near a big city so getting that channel is impossible, I guess I’ll stick to the highlights later on that night. Tv Azteca is gonna have the best matches Oswaldo Sanchez against his old team Chivas and two offensive teams like Toluca and Cruz Azul its gonna be a great night for football!
