Marcello Lippi is wanted by the Mexican Federation’s National Team Committee.
The former Italy coach was confirmed as one of four candidates still in the running for coach of the Mexican National Team.
“I can confirm Lippi is one of the names on our list,” stated the Federation’s general secretary Decio de Maria.
The committee, made up of representatives from teams Atlante, Guadalajara, Tecos, Pumas and Jaguares, has until November 16 to choose Ricardo La Volpe’s successor.
