Jornada 6 Schedule
By: mirna | August 31st, 2007
The Jornada 6 of the Mexican League is upon us. Tomorrow (Saturday), we’ll have some great matches to look forward to. Personally, I am looking forward to UNAM finally getting a win. It is due. I am also interested in the Guadalajara/UANL match. Chivas has had a decent beginning to this tournament and Tigres has had a terrible one but Chivas comes from a midweek loss to Santos, we’ll see what Tigres can do facing Chivas. Another interesting match is Atlante vs. Santos…hmmm, could Atlante be the one to give Santos their first loss?
Have a wonderful three-day holiday weekend (if you are in the US) if not, enjoy your two days off.
Here’s the weekend schedule:
Saturday (9/1)
Chiapas vs. UNAM
Monterrey vs. Morelia
Veracruz vs. Cruz Azul
Guadalajara vs. UANL
Pachuca vs. San Luis
Atlante vs. Santos
Sunday (9/2)
Toluca vs. Necaxa
Puebla vs. UA de G
America vs. Atlas

Unam’s coach is in the hot seat, the Pumas owners are going to evaluate every game and see whether he’s the right person for the job. I personally think this is ridiculous because in tough times you have to have confidence in your coach.
Just so everyone knows Tuca Ferretti has never been fired during a season, he’s finished ever season before stepping down and this could be the first.
