New Coach for Atlas

By: mirna | September 25th, 2007

m_boytomas_180×250.jpgTomas Boy was named as the new coach of Atlas this past Monday. Boy already coached his first game in Atlas loss to Chiapas over the weekend. Boy has a long road ahead of him to get Atlas to be a winning team again but at least in paper, Atlas is a solid team that might get there with a lot of work.

Tomas Boy ia former player who played his entire career in Mexico. His best years were spent with Tigres. As a coach, he has been with Queretaro, Veracruz, Morelia, Puebla, and Rayados of Monterrey. Coaching has been a struggle for Boy but his reputation is of a disciplinarian, exactly what Atlas needs to get off the bottom and begin winning.

Best of luck to the Tuzos!
