Despite rumors claiming otherwise, controversial Mexican Cuauhtémoc Blanco is alive, well, and anxious to ring the neck of the editor who reported his “death” on a Mexican news website.

According to the report, Blanco was killed in a car accident on Tuesday while driving to Cuernavaca, a town just outside of Mexico City. The story was taken down less than two hours after it went up.

Well, that’s good news. We can all breathe a sigh of relief now.

That is a sigh of relief, right?
