Rest in Peace, Antonio Puerta

By: mirna | August 28th, 2007

puerta3_562382.jpgToday is an extremely sad day for all of us in the football community. Here in the Mexico blog, we share in the sadness over the passing of Sevilla’s Antonio Puerta. We followed closely since Saturday night when Antonio suffered at least two heart attacks and was subsequently taken to Virgen del Rocío Hospital. Antonio passed on at 2:30 pm (Sevilla time). He will be terribly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his club, Sevilla FC and all football fans around the world who are mourning this terrible loss.

Rest in Peace, Antonio Puerta.
