Squandered Chances
By: Darius | November 6th, 2006
Mexican powerhouse America drew 0-0 at home against Atlante on Sunday.
Both teams squandered more chances to score in 90 minutes of play than the 40-year-old virgin at a dive bar.
It was the second game in a row that America failed to put one in the net. They are now tied for second place with UNAM in Group Three.
Always the gentlemen, America’s players blamed the loss on bad luck and vowed to qualify for the “Liguilla” playoffs with a win next week against Morelia.
