By: Albert | April 30th, 2008
Minute 56 and Pachuca is almost Champion of the CONCACAF Champions cup for the 2nd time in a row. They are currently up 2-0 against Saprissa at home in Pachuca in the 2nd leg. In the 1st leg Pachuca was able to get a 1-1 tie in a very hostile Saprissa stadium.
Winner gets their opportunity to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. Last year Pachuca did poorly, getting quickly eliminated. This time they need to do better.
Chaco Gimenez scored the first goal and Luis Gabriel Rey put in the 2nd. Pachuca eliminated Motagua, and DC United to get to the final.
