The Rabbit goes to Tigers

By: Albert | June 13th, 2008

Oscar ‘conejo’ Perez is now at UANL Tigres. Along with Chivas Alfredo Talavera. Cirilo Saucedo is transferible but still with the team. This will be fun to watch and see who will start in Monterrey. We have a old but veteran Conejo Perez and a young Talavera, who had some instances of brilliance with Chivas if I do recall correctly in the Interliga a couple of years back. Of course Michel came in and took his spot. Saucedo was an ok keeper, but with the way ALL of Tigres played last year, might as well have a cleaning just like America.

It would be cool to see Conejo teach and groom the young Talavera into becoming another one of Mexico’s NT contending goalkeepers. This way we may never see Moises Muñoz again in the National Team.

I think that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Conejo will keep Talavera under his wing, it’s a good opportunity for both of them.

    P.S.
Tigres president is a corrupt idiot who doesn’t know how to properly run an administration.
